Become a Dog Handler for GEESE OFF!

Are you passionate about working with dogs and spending time outdoors? GEESE OFF! is looking for dedicated dog handlers to join our team in providing humane and effective Canada goose control services. As a dog handler, you’ll work with expertly trained Border Collies to safely deter geese from properties such as parks, schools, corporate campuses, and golf courses. This is a hands-on, rewarding opportunity to work with incredible dogs while making a real impact on the environment. Qualifications 

• Strong preference will be given to those with experience in dog handling and/or training, preferably with working or herding breeds
• Good understanding of animal behavior and training techniques
• Passion for working with dogs
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness to handle outdoor activities in various weather conditions (ability to lift 10’ kayak on and off car roof)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for 5 years; must spend extended hours driving
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Knowledge of humane wildlife management practices is a plus
